Movie Review: I Am Legend

Plot
Robert Neville is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable, and man-made. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City and maybe the world. For three years, Neville has faithfully sent out daily radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there. But he is not alone. Mutant victims of the plague — The Infected — lurk in the shadows… watching Neville’s every move… waiting for him to make a fatal mistake. Perhaps mankind’s last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood. But he knows he is outnumbered… and quickly running out of time.

Opinion – Everything below this is completely my opinion
When I first saw the trailer for this movie, I thought it might not be good to have an entire movie based solely on one individual who survived some ‘plague’ like virus. I was concerned about how one person could carry an entire movie. Little did I know that the movie has more character development than just Robert Neville. The ‘night seekers’ have an alpha male and female who lead the ‘pack’, and the only surviving dog has her own little attitude. There are numerous flashback scenes to Robert escorting his wife and daughter out of the city and reruns of the multiple news casts done on the cure/virus. After seeing the movie, I would recommend it to almost anyone. This movie has it all; horror, sci-fi, thriller, fantasy, drama, action, and probably more.
