Patience, Where Did It Go?

It seems that I am, as of late, short on patience. Or at least my 5 year old thinks I am. Drama King constantly tells me, “You must have patience mommy.” And I think he’s right. Lately, I have been extremely impatient about everything. Little T’s speech evaluation is taking way too long. My lawsuit is taking way too long. I just have zero tolerance for things that don’t happen within a reasonable amount of time. I know that sometimes life happens and people have their own lives to balance but is it really unreasonable to ask for a courtesy call.

Do all parents lose patience as their kids age? Or is it just that as I get older, I lose patience?
